My name is Amanda, I have been married to a wonderful man, David, for almost 10 years. Together we have 2 beautiful little boys, Zach (6) and Josh (2). I stay home to raise the little guys and it’s my most favorite job! I have been creative my whole life, dabbling in all sorts of crafts, but found a passion for scrapbooking with the birth of my first son. It wasn’t long after I happened upon digital scrapbooking and I knew this was it! I started designing in 2011 to help meet my own scrapbooking needs. My kits tend to be very kid friendly and usually go along with what is going on in my own children’s lives (be sure to look for a T-ball kit this summer!!).

Can you tell us a little about yourself? Hello! I’m Amanda, the designer behind Nibbles Skribbles. I am called mommy by two beautiful little boys Big A (6) and little a (11 months) and am lucky enough to stay home with them full time. My husband, Mike, is a software engineer and the love of my life. Besides scrapbooking, I enjoy crafting, cooking and baking! I love spending time with my family and friends I enjoy chocolate and coffee on a daily basis and am obsessed with the color purple.

What inspires you? I am inspired by the things my kids and the people around me do or talk about. Many of my designs are created with something specific in mind, usually because I need to scrap that something!I also draw inspiration from colors. Without the right idea and right colors, I can’t make progress in any way!

When did you start designing? I have been designing since 2009. I started with templates, and moved to kits a few months later and never looked back!

What program(s) do you design with? I use both PSE6 and PSE10 on my Mac

What is your favorite kit you have ever designed and why? It changes all the time. Right now, I would say Skies Are Grey (Available at Digital Scrap Cafe this month). I really like the way the bright yellow and green pop on the greys and blacks, and my CT totally blew me away with their layouts. Seeing amazing layouts with my kits is really what pushes them up the favorites list for me.

What is something about you that most people don’t know? I go to bed really early. My baby still doesn’t sleep more than 2-3 hours at a time, so in order to be semi-functioning - I go to bed when he does, around 7:30. We both get up for the day around 5 and I’m lucky to get 5 or so hours of actual sleep (never in a row) during that time. I live life perpetually exhausted!
